Quality Control of Deep Foundations

By ordering this OnDemand Webinar you will learn concepts and testing details of both static and dynamic load testing methods for piles and drilled shafts. Example results will be shown from both test methods. Furthermore, results from dynamic testing, including assessment of bearing capacity, driving stresses, hammer performance evaluation and shaft integrity, will be discussed in more detail. The GRLWEAP and CAPWAP® programs will be briefly described. In regards to quality control methods, you will learn how low strain pile integrity testing (PIT) and cross-hole sonic logging (CSL) are performed. Example results will be shown for both tests. You will also gain a general understanding in result interpretation.

Learning Objectives
•You will be able to discuss static load testing.
•You will be able to identify quality control methods for deep foundations.
•You will be able to review low strain integrity testing (PIT).
•You will be able to explain high strain dynamic load testing.
