What the New Ledbetter Pay Act Means for Employers

On January 29, 2009, President Obama signed into law the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009, effectively changing the landscape of the statute of limitations for equal pay discrimination claims. The act greatly expands the amount of time that employees have to bring claims of discriminatory pay practices, which could have a substantial impact on employers.

This teleconference will help the people responsible for handling their organizationÆs compensation practices to understand the key provisions of the act and potential implications for their organization. YouÆll learn how to plan ahead to reduce potential exposure for your company under the new act.
