Understanding the Federal Construction Bidding Process

The federal construction bidding process is complex. This teleconference will review the complicated federal construction bidding process; including sealed bidding procedures and negotiated procurements. You'll learn about practical substantive issues that commonly arrive in preparing a bid or proposal for federal construction work; such as proprietary specifications; design vs. performance specifications; and the duty to inquire during the bidding stage.

In addition; we'll cover the bid protest procedures in place to protect your rights; including small business; disadvantaged business and veteran set-aside issues. You cannot compete effectively in this field without understanding the procedures and substantive rules that govern federal bidding. Register now!

Learning Objectives:

  • You will be able to recall bid protest procedures.
  • You will be able to summarize negotiated procurement procedures.
  • You will be able to break down sealed bidding procedures.
